Villagio, an Oakmont Senior Living memory care community in Brea, is a platinum partner of the Anaheim “Walk to End Alzheimer’s” on Saturday, November 16 organized by the Orange County Chapter Alzheimer’s Association. As an additional contribution, Villagio is also hosting the chapter’s pre-walk “Monte Carlo Night” benefit on Thursday, November 7. Each year, nearly 300 chapters of the Alzheimer’s Association across U.S. territories organize the annual 5K-walk in their area to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. The pre-walk benefit will take place at Villagio, 460 S. La Floresta Drive in Brea, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. A $20 donation covers the entrance fee and buys $200 in casino chips to enjoy roulette, craps, blackjack and poker. The event will also include a silent auction, live entertainment and complimentary hors d’oeuvres and beverages organized by Villagio staff. Attendees will also have a chance to tour the memory care community that caters to individuals with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia, including early memory loss. RSVP by November 4 to (714) 985-5501.
